All riders entering grades 7-12 in the 2026-2027 school year are welcome.


*There is an additional fee per rider for the team racing kit uniform. See below for more information.

Registration will be capped based on having the required ride leader-to-student athlete ratio. If you go to register and it has been capped, please join the waitlist in case there are updates after initial registration.

  • Team Fee

    Your team fee covers coach and ride leader background checks and registration, bike equipment, first aid kits, race-day food, pit-zone equipment and supplies, water bottles, team gatherings,  trailer maintenance, year-end awards, appreciation gifts, rider shirt and hat, and more.

  • Volunteer Fee

    There are many volunteer opportunities, from ride leading to committee membership to race day support. The volunteer fee will be refunded at the end of the season with verification that you volunteered for a minimum of 8 hours per child on the team. We will honor League volunteer hours toward the 8-hour volunteer requirement.

  • Utah League & NICA Fees

    The Utah League & NICA fee covers local and national training staff, first-aid training, race staging, fencing, awards, insurance, event location fees, race-day medical support, and more.

  • Kits (Uniforms)

    Kits are not included with your standard fees, but typically run in the $160-$200 range for bibs and shorts or baggies. For 2026 we will be using the same kit that was used in 2025.


    Kits will be available for purchase to replace damaged or outgrown items and for new riders to the team. 


    *If you have a new Devo rider, there is a chance you can buy someone's kit from last year that they have outgrown! Make sure to check our team's Slack group once you've signed up for the team - this is where these kits will be listed for sale. 

  • Race Travel

    Devo: participates in 3 races


    High School: all riders participate in 4 races. Some riders will qualify for the state race (5th race).


    Race locations for Region 5 are located at utahmtb.org/race


    High School races begin at 8:00 AM

    DEVO races begin at 2:30 PM


    It is highly recommended to book lodging ASAP.


    Race locations may have camping/RV hookups, hotels, and vacation rental options. Travel fees are a separate cost.

Refund policy:



We want riders who are excited and committed to being on the Wasatch Mountain Bike team!


Please don’t sign up to just hold a spot just in case that could be someone else’s who really wants to be on the team!


Change your mind after registering? No worries, see refund schedule below.

  • Before March 24th, full refund.
  • Between March 25th and April 9th, you can get a refund minus a $50 fee.
  • Between April 10th and June 8th, you can get a prorated refund minus a $50 fee.
  • After June 8th, (once practice season begins), the only way to get a prorated refund is if your rider is injured or having a significant mental health challenge and can't ride for the rest of the season (doctor's note required).
